UN RICO VENIDO A MENOS.
Una de las sociedades más ricas del planeta, la de los estadounidenses, hoy se trasladan desde su viejo sueño americano (american dream), a la pesadilla de su reality show político y económico. Les quita el sueño, conocer un poco de la pobreza que padecemos en los países que somos satélites tradicionales de su voraz economía capitalista. En una simple aritmética aplicada, por fuera de sus cifras y “verdades” institucionales, han encontrado la relación 99 a 1. Hoy se reúnen, protestan y gritan que tienen que tomar Wall Street, que tienen que tomar Washington, que tienen que tomar a los Estados Unidos de América, ir por esos símbolos de la acumulación de la riqueza en su país, que pertenecen a quienes cosechan los frutos del cotidiano esfuerzo del 99%. Ir por el uno por ciento y rebasar el engaño calculado en histórico discurso de un nivel de confort “american way of life” hoy insostenible, con toda su carga de simulaciones de libertad y democracia.
Hoy ustedes norteamericanos ensayan el ensamble coral “Tomad al uno por ciento” igual que aquellos galos revoltosos hace 220 años ensayaron en la Bastilla francesa “igualdad, libertad, fraternidad”.
99% de amigos norteamericanos, no olvidéis incluir en vuestro nuevo canto: “Tomad también, por cuenta de todos los pobres de la tierra, la estatua de la libertad”.
